HUD + WEAPON WHEEL MOCKUP
To practice designing more neutral UI layouts in Illustrator, I created a simple HUD and weapon wheel menu.
The open space of the wheel allows the player to easily navigate his surroundings whilst browsing his weapons. The silhouettes are quickly understandable, allowing for a rapid selection. The ammo count is clearly visible, not only within the wheel, but also in the bottom corner display and the objective pop-up is non-intrusive and minimalist, for quick and easy viewing.
